The Miami Design Studio is the freelance studio of Andrew Rice and Scott Johns, two college students with a passion for art, design, and technology.
Together, we create websites, write code, and design publications with a philosophy based on simplicity. Our skills allow us to consult, develop, and design for our clients in ways that are both effective and affordable.
Andrew Rice, web designer
Andrew Rice is a Marketing and Business Management major at Florida International University and has over five years of experience designing and developing for the web. When he’s not busy writing standards-compliant code, he’s either in class, studying, or catching up on past episodes of “The Office”.
Scott Johns, graphic designer
Scott Johns is a graduate of the University of Miami (B.A. Studio Art, 2008) and specializes in graphic design and advertising. With experience in print production and commercial art, Scott draws up impactful logos and develops effective marketing brands. He spends his free time fishing, pretending he can play golf, and cheering for Arsenal F.C.
